Bitterly cold temperatures combined with wind speeds of 10 to 20 mph will result in dangerous wind chills around Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin Tonight and Saturday Morning. Wind chills will range from 25 below to 40 below in the advisory area with some locations such as Hibbing, International Falls, Walker, Big Fork, and Ely possibly getting as low as 45 below late Tonight and early Saturday Morning.
Frostbite could develop in 10 to 15 minutes on exposed skin. Take proper precautions if you plan to be outdoors for any period of time while the advisory is in effect.
Additional wind chill headlines may be needed for parts of the area for Saturday Night and Sunday.
