Freezing rain…sleet…and rain will spread into the watch area Monday Afternoon and continue through Tuesday as a deep area of low pressure passes west of the Northland. This storm has the potential of producing significant ice accumulations as well as localized flooding in areas that see rain.
Ice may accumulate enough on trees and power lines to cause power outages early next week in the watch area. In addition, winds gusting at times to around 30 mph could cause trees to topple if enough ice accumulates on them.
This has the potential of being a dangerous storm early next week… Stay tuned for more updates.
