*Ice Storm Warning* continues until 6 AM CST Tuesday for Carlton County MN… Central and Southern St. Louis MN… Lake MN… And Cook MN… Some cities included in the warning are… Moose Lake MN… Esko MN… Cloquet MN… Duluth MN… Cotton MN… Hibbing MN… Two Harbors MN… Silver Bay MN… Tofte MN… Lutsen MN… And Grand Marais MN… Ice accumulations of 0.05″ to around 0.20″ have been reported in the warning area so far Today with total ice accumulations of 0.25″-0.40″ possible in some spots by Morning. More rounds of freezing rain or rain will lift south to north across the warning area Tonight with further icing expected, especially for higher terrain areas slightly inland from Lake Superior. Enough ice may accumulate on trees and power lines to cause some power outages and down trees later Tonight.

*Freezing Rain Advisory* continues until 6 AM CST Tuesday for Koochiching County MN… Itasca County MN… Northern Cass MN… Northern Aitkin MN… And Northern St. Louis County MN… Some cities included in the advisory are… International Falls MN… Bigfork MN… Grand Rapids MN… Walker MN… Hill City MN… And Ely MN… Additional rain and freezing rain will occur in the advisory area Tonight with further ice accumulations expected. Total ice accumulations from 0.10″ up to 0.25″ are possible by Morning.

*Freezing Rain Advisory* continues until Midnight CST Tonight for Douglas County WI and Bayfield County WI… Some cities included in the advisory are: Superior WI… Solon Springs WI… South Range WI… Patzau WI… Port Wing WI… And Bayfield WI… Rain or freezing rain will continue at times This Evening with some further icing possible. Total ice accumulations of 0.05″ to around 0.20″ are expected in the advisory area.

Changes to these headlines may occur This Evening and additional winter weather headlines may be needed for areas around Koochiching or Itasca Counties in Minnesota on Tuesday.

  1. LOL! have fun with the ice! The good thing is that it looks like it should melt fairly easily as temps stay around or above freezing for a few days. A chance for thunderstorms down here…
