Today’s Weather Summary for NE Minnesota and NW Wisconsin
A cold front has been pushing south through the Northland Today, this front did help to produce a few showers and isolated thunderstorms over parts of the area Today, otherwise it was a partly to mostly cloudy kind of day with a touch of haze/smoke as well. High temperatures were mainly in the 70s, but an abrupt wind shift to the east took place near Lake Superior during the Afternoon which caused temperatures to drop into the 50s and 60s.

Spotty showers and isolated thunderstorms over Eastern Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin should end before 7 PM. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast Tonight with patchy late night fog possible. Lows will be in the 40s and 50s with a few 30s possible in far Northern Minnesota. Winds will be out of the north, west, or east at 5 to 15 mph.
