…Morning weather update…

*Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect for Duluth and Superior until 6 PM CST Wednesday*

*Snow continues in the Twin Ports This Afternoon and This Evening.

*Snow tapers off Overnight, most likely after 2-3 AM.

*A lull in the snow is possible during Tuesday Morning, although some light snow/flurries can’t be ruled out…Might even be some patchy light freezing drizzle.

*3 to 6″ of snow is possible by late Tonight from this 1st round.

Note:  The 2nd part of this storm looks like it’ll arrive Tuesday Afternoon and continue Tuesday Night and Wednesday Morning…Might even linger beyond Wednesday AM.  An additional 6″ or more of snow could occur with that 2nd round.

Storm event totals of 12″ is certainly possible in Duluth by Wednesday with locally higher amounts possible as winds will be out of the east and possibly even going east-northeast Tuesday Night…This should lead to some lake enhanced snow especially on the North side of Duluth, and possibly the south side as well should winds line up more in an ENE direction.

*Preliminary snowfall reports between 6-9 AM Today, Monday December 2, 2013*
