*Here’s what I’m expecting for snowfall storm totals thru Wednesday. Note: Things could change so stay tuned.
-Snow continues to fall over most of the Northland This Evening. Temperatures near the immediate lake shore are warm enough which has caused either light rain/drizzle or a mixture of snow and rain early This Evening at both the Duluth Harbor and at Silver Bay.
-Snow should continue through the Evening hours before decreasing in coverage from SW-NE Overnight. The exception to this may be along the North Shore of Lake Superior where snow could linger through the Overnight hours due to terrain/lake enhance influences with the easterly wind in place.
-Widespread snowfall accumulations ranging from 2-6″ are expected in NE MN and NW Wisconsin Tonight with locally greater amounts along the North Shore of Lake Superior.
-The 2nd round of snow looks like it’ll move into the Northland sometime Tuesday Afternoon the way it looks now.
-Expect hazardous road conditions Tonight with snow/slush covered roads. Slow down, use extreme caution, and be sure to allow plenty of time to reach your destination if you have travel plans Tonight.
*Upper Midwest radar loop ending at 6:45 PM CST Tonight. Blue is snow, darker blue indicates heavier snowfall.
*Snowfall totals thru 6 PM Tonight*
