Weather Synopsis
A brief return to cooler temperatures today, but this shot of chilly air will be short lived as warmer temperatures return starting on Sunday.
There just isn’t a whole lot to talk about with our current weather pattern as will continue to see fluctuating temperatures for the next several days with little to no precipitation.  No persistent cold through next week, and no signs of any major storm system that would impact the Northland at least through next Saturday, December 2.
Late afternoon 850mb temperatures ranged from -2C in far southwest areas to -10C in extreme northeast Minnesota — Warm air advection will take place overnight, and by Sunday morning 850mb temperatures should range from -1C to +4C.  Lows tonight will range from the single digits in far northern Minnesota with teens and 20s elsewhere.  Highs Sunday will range from the upper 20s and lower 30s in far northern Minnesota to the 40s in southern portions of the Northland.
Will have a warm front pass through the area tonight followed by a cold frontal passage for Sunday, and this will be followed by another warm front and cold front for Monday.  No precipitation is expected as those fronts move through.
