Tonight through Sunday Night (February 8-9)
Another shot of arctic air arrives late Tonight and continues through Sunday Night. 850mb temperatures will drop to -20 to -24C during the next 24 hours with thickness values lowering to less than 5100 decameters. Partly to mostly cloudy skies Tonight and Tomorrow will turn mostly clear Tomorrow Night.
Low temperatures Tonight and Sunday Night will be in the single digits, teens, and 20s below with a few spots possibly dropping into the minus 30s. Highs on Sunday will be in the single digits below to single digits above zero.
Winds will be out of the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Hazardous wind chill values are expected in Western/Northern areas late Tonight into Sunday Morning. Another round of hazardous wind chills are possible Sunday Night over the entire Northland.

Monday through Wednesday (February 10-12)
The weather stays dry and cold on Monday with highs in the single digits below to single digits above zero. Lows Monday Night will range from the single digits below to the 30s below zero. Tuesday and Wednesday could feature some snow at times as 1 or 2 systems approach from the west/northwest. Highs will be in the single digits and teens on Tuesday and in the teens and 20s on Wednesday. Lows Tuesday Night will be in the single digits.

(February 13-18)
The weather pattern looks a little more active around here compared to what we have seen lately. There are a few systems to monitor from the 13th-18th. The track and timing of each will likely fluctuate from day to day as the flow aloft turns more zonal which basically means a fast flow/quick moving systems. Computer models often have a difficult time with a pattern like this. For the most part I think temperatures will remain below average, but I don’t think will be dealing with any bouts of extreme cold from the 13th-18th, of course this could change so stay tuned.
