/Issued 9:36 AM CST, Sunday, December 27, 2015/

*Preliminary snowfall accumulation map for Monday PM thru Tuesday AM*

What to expect:

*Lake effect snow showers could develop late tonight and Monday along the South and North Shores of Lake Superior although by Monday the chance for lake effect snow showers should shift primarily to the North Shore as winds turn to the east.

*A powerful low pressure system lifts north/northeast out of Southern Texas – This will be a quick moving storm.

*A period of moderate to heavy snow Monday evening through early Tuesday morning especially from Eastern Minnesota through Northern Wisconsin.

*Computer models still at odds this morning with the NAM, SREF and EUROPEAN bringing accumulating snow to Duluth while the GFS remains farther south and keeps the snow away from Duluth.  GFS has been consistent with its forecast while the NAM, SREF and EURO have also been consistent with their forecasts.  Stay tuned!
