Winter returned to the Northland last night with very cold temperatures across the Northland.
Duluth recorded its first subzero temperature of the month this morning with a low of -5 degrees, and this was also the first subzero temperature since January 20th, the low that morning was -11 degrees.
Only 10 subzero nights in Duluth this winter. Average during a winter season (December-February) is 35 subzero nights using the 1875-2023 climate period.
