Here’s what I’m watching
- Strong winds are expected tonight and Sunday, with a wind advisory issued for parts of northeast Minnesota.
- Wind gusts up to 45 mph are anticipated in the wind advisory areas tonight and into Sunday, with these strong winds affecting the North Shore of Lake Superior throughout Sunday.
- Expect significantly cooler temperatures on Sunday, with a warming trend emerging next week. Widespread temperatures in the 70s are possible by the end of next week.
- There are no indications of widespread or significant rainfall in the forecast for the next seven days or more. Consequently, drought conditions are expected to deteriorate further.
