-Duluth last experienced below-average temperatures on November 1st, more than three weeks ago. However, a stretch of below-average temperatures is expected this week.
-Duluth last experienced a temperature of 20 degrees or lower on March 29th, 2024, with a recorded low of 9 degrees.
The initial surge of cold air is advancing eastward across the Northland this afternoon, with 850mb temperatures dropping to approximately -7 to -12°C in our region.
