*Discussion:

Snow will overspread the advisory area Wednesday Afternoon with snow continuing into Wednesday Evening before ending from south to north Wednesday Night.  The potential does exist for heavy snow bursts to develop which could lead to hourly snowfall rates of 1-2″ from late Wednesday Afternoon into Wednesday Evening.  The snow could also mix with sleet or freezing drizzle at times, especially in Northwest Wisconsin, west to the Twin Ports and south along the Interstate 35 corridor.

*Snowfall totals of 2-6″ are expected by early Thursday Morning with some light ice accumulations also possible.

A winter weather advisory for snow means that accumulating snow will cause travel difficulties.  Be prepared for snow covered roads and reduced visibility and use caution while driving.  Allow extra time to reach your destination.  Some freezing drizzle is also possible.

Snow possibly heavy at times will spread into these areas Wednesday Afternoon and Wednesday Evening with snow continuing Overnight before tapering off on Thursday.

*Total snowfall accumulations of 3-6″ are expected in the advisory area by Thursday.

Snow will overspread these areas Wednesday Afternoon with snow persisting Wednesday Night before tapering off during the day Thursday.  Heavy snowfall rates of 1-2″ an hour could develop especially Wednesday Evening.

*Total snowfall accumulations of 6-12″ are possible in the watch area by Thursday.
