…Lake breeze front heading down Lake Superior…

A well defined lake breeze boundary is heading down Lake Superior This Evening.  As of 7:30 PM it extends from Isabella to Two Harbors, Minnesota, and out over the open waters of Lake Superior, north of Port Wing, Herbster, and Cornucopia, Wisconsin.

Based on the current track, it looks like it’ll come through Duluth and Superior around 8:00-8:30 PM.  Northwest winds will shift abruptly to the E/NE as soon as the front passes.  A period of stronger winds is possible with gusts to 20 mph as this boundary moves through.
