Discussion: Rain or snow will transition to all snow Tonight with snow possibly becoming heavy at times Overnight into Thursday Morning. Snowfall rates of 1-2″ an hour are possible at times through Thursday Morning in parts of Northwest Wisconsin.
Total snowfall accumulations: 3-7″ with locally higher amounts of 8-12″ affecting a narrow corridor mainly along a Siren to Bayfield line south to Ashland, Hayward and Exeland.
Impacts: Visibilities could be reduced to one quarter mile or less in the heavier snow bands Tonight and Thursday Morning. Some roads will become snow and slush covered and very slippery especially Overnight and before Noon on Thursday. Use extreme caution if you have travel plans and be sure to allow extra time to reach your destination.
