/Issued 3:45 PM CST, Monday, November 25, 2013/
-Another lake effect snow event is on tap for Tuesday and Wednesday along the South Shore of Lake Superior as north-northwest winds and cold air move over the relatively warmer waters of Lake Superior.
Note: Locations south of the 2-6″ band on the map below in Bayfield County could pick up 1-2″ of snow. Locations south of the 6-10″ band on the map below in both Ashland and Iron County could pick up 2-6″ of snow.
-Remember lake effect snow totals can vary quite a bit in just a few miles. Be sure to slow down and use extreme caution if you have travel plans along the South Shore of Lake Superior as roads will become snow covered and icy with poor visibility at times in falling and blowing snow. Snowfall rates could exceed 1″ an hour at times in the heaviest snow showers.
