Radar image from 3:25 PM CST Today shows a classic storm taking shape.  Showers and thunderstorms some of which are severe with possible tornadoes, hail, and high winds from Western Illinois to Southeast Missouri while a widespread area of snow continues west/north of the surface low with multiple bands of heavy snow spreading north out of Southern Minnesota.  Source, COD.



















Low pressure has deepened to 988mb as of 3 PM with the center of this low moving into Southeastern Iowa with strong 2-hour pressure falls of 4 millibars extending northeast of this low through Central Wisconsin.  Source, COD.

10-15″ of snow is possible in the Twin Ports by Friday Morning and a WINTER STORM WARNING remains in effect through 12 PM CST Friday.
