Temperatures were right around average on this 5th day of April with highs in the 40s Today, a few spots up North even climbed close to 50 or into the low 50s. Partly cloudy to sunny skies were common Today as high pressure moves off to our east. Winds Today were out of the southwest at 10 to around 20 mph.

Tonight (April 5)
Partly to mostly cloudy skies will be found in our area Tonight with low pressure and a weak cold front moving into the Northland during the night. A few spotty showers of rain or possibly some light mixed precipitation cannot be ruled out in the area Tonight but any precipitation that does manage to fall should remain very light. There could also be some patchy fog Overnight. Lows Tonight will be in the 20s and 30s with winds out of the southwest or east/northeast at 5 to 15 mph.
Sunday and Sunday Night (April 6)
A weak cold front will drop south of our area this period. Spotty light rain or mixed showers will be possible early Tomorrow otherwise this period looks dry. Partly to mostly cloudy skies are forecast Tomorrow and Tomorrow Night. Highs will be in the 30s and 40s with lows in the 20s and 30s. Winds will vary from east, south, to west at 5 to 15 mph.

Monday through Wednesday (April 7-9)
No weather issues during this period. Highs on Monday will mainly be in the 40s. Tuesday’s highs will reach the 40s and 50s. Wednesday looks to be the warmest day with highs in the 50s and even some 60s as strong low pressure remains to our north which puts our area in the warm sector along with a gusty westerly flow…This should add up to a real nice spring day across the Northland. Low temperatures Monday Night and Tuesday Night will be in the 20s and 30s.

A period of rain showers are possible in our area early Thursday AM (10th) as a cold front drops through the region. Could see some more rain showers next weekend (12th-13th) Near to below average temperatures are forecast through this period.
