Here’s how much additional snow may fall through 8 AM Tuesday per 20z RAP model. East central Minnesota and Twin Ports could get another 3-5″ of snow Tonight while 6-10″ of additional snow is possible in northwest Wisconsin.

As of 4 PM: Low pressure of 996mb was over eastern Iowa — this area of low pressure will move over southern Lake Michigan by daybreak Tuesday and then be near or over portions of Lake Huron by Tuesday Afternoon.
Snow continues to fall early This Evening across northwest Wisconsin and east central Minnesota. We could see a bit of a lull in the snowfall intensity This Evening but light snow should continue based on radar trends. Another surge of somewhat heavier snow is expected to develop This Evening to our southwest, and that batch of snow should track northeast and into east central/northeast Minnesota and all of northwest Wisconsin from mid Evening and through the Overnight hours.
Additional snow is expected on Tuesday, although the snow Tomorrow should be much lighter except in parts of northwest Wisconsin where lake effect snow could become heavy at times along the South Shore of Lake Superior.
A winter storm warning continues for Duluth and Superior until Noon CST Tuesday.

-1st batch of snow continues to move east/northeast thru northeast Minnesota, northwest Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. Another batch of snow is organizing over South Dakota and this should track northeast into our area toward mid Evening.
