Weather Summary for March 22, 2015
Location: Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin
There are two potent looking systems showing up on water vapor satellite imagery Today. The first one is moving east through the Southern half of Saskatchewan, the other one is moving east/southeast out of the Northern Plains. That latter feature has produced an area of snow or a mixture of precipitation Today from West Central through Southern Minnesota but all of this precipitation has stayed away from the Northland as were being controlled by an area of high pressure which was centered over Western Ontario This Afternoon. Sky conditions ranged from sunny to partly sunny Today with high temperatures in the 30s. Winds weren’t much of a factor Today with east or variable winds at around 10 mph.
