A preliminary post on the upcoming snow or rain event toward midweek.
-The computer models Today are still showing a low pressure system, or more than one low pressure affecting the Upper Midwest including Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin sometime around midweek.
-The computer models differ, however, on the track of this system as well as the amount of snow and or rain will see here in the Northland.
-I put together three possible scenarios based on This Morning’s model data.
Scenario two would result in the least amount of snow in the Northland with only minor impacts to travel.
The 1st and 3rd scenarios would likely be more interesting when it comes to snow totals in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin, with the 3rd scenario being the most significant.
This system is still a couple of days away so for now just have to watch the model data/trends and update from there. Stay tuned!
