Looks like the rain-snow line will basically be along the Interstate 35 corridor this afternoon…Mainly rain with possibly some wet snow/sleet at times east of I-35 while mainly snow falls west of I-35 this afternoon. Note: There is a chance, however, for the rain to change over to heavy wet snow from time to time this afternoon even east of the I-35 corridor.
In Duluth and Superior, higher elevated areas in Duluth should see snow as this next batch of precipitation moves in after 1 PM today. Lower elevation areas in Duluth and Superior can expect rain, drizzle and possibly some sleet and wet snow if the precipitation is heavy enough to pull down some of the cold air above us. Also expect areas of fog near Lake Superior this afternoon.
