July 2020 was a warm month across the Northland with Duluth and Brainerd recording a top 10 warmest July on record.

Precipitation totals varied quite a bit in July, with Duluth, Brainerd and Ashland recording above normal precipitation in July, while Hibbing and International Falls had below normal precipitation.

Duluth led the way with the number of days with thunder in July at 11 days, while Brainerd and Ashland had the fewest days with thunder at 6.
