LIGHT SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT/SUNDAY
It does look like will be seeing at least a little snow in much of the Northland between Saturday night and Sunday due to two systems, one moving ENE out of the central Rockies, while another system moves SE out of Saskatchewan and Manitoba Canada.
Some light snow is expected Saturday night through about mid-morning Sunday over parts of northwest Wisconsin, and then will see some light snow across north central into northeast Minnesota on Sunday, and this snow will also spread into northwest Wisconsin by Sunday afternoon.
Note — Timing of the snow for the Duluth area looks to be from around 9 AM to 6 PM Sunday with <1″ of snow accumulation expected.
Snow ends by Sunday evening except near the larger inland lakes in northern Minnesota where some lake effect snow is possible Sunday night/Monday morning, and also downwind of Lake Superior along the South Shore in northwest Wisconsin.

And here’s an animation of the above image valid from Noon Saturday to 6 PM Sunday.
We’re not looking at very much snow anywhere in the Northland Saturday night or Sunday with snow totals ranging from a trace to 1″, but a few slippery spots could still develop on roads.
It was a cold morning across the Northland with widespread temperatures in the single digits and 10s Friday morning.

NEXT WEEK’S PATTERN
It looks like the Northland will be in a NW flow aloft next week as our area sits in between a strong and deep trough to the east and a ridge over western Canada into the Pacific northwest.
This type of pattern for next week isn’t conducive for any major systems impacting the Northland but there is a chance that we could see a few weaker clipper type systems drop SE through the area resulting in a little light snow from time-to-time next week.
