Note — The highest calendar day snowfall total so far for the 2023-2024 snow season in Duluth continues to be October 30th with 1.2″ of snow.
Duluth averages 5 one inch or greater snowfall events in December. This December only 1 snowfall event of 1 inch or more.
Snowfall is running well below average once again in Duluth this month with just 4.8″ of snow thru the 30th. Normal snowfall in December 18.7″.
Only 26% of normal snowfall in Duluth this month (thru the 30th) but this is up from 9% of normal snowfall in November, so I guess we’re going in the right direction, or wrong direction depending on your point of view.
