We have about 24 more hours left to go of this winter storm as of late Monday afternoon.
- Wet snow, rain, drizzle, areas of fog along with some freezing rain and ice accumulation will be found over the Northland tonight into early Tuesday morning.
- One final wave of snow pushes through the area Tuesday as colder air moves in behind this storm. Some of the snow on Tuesday could be heavy at times especially during the morning/early afternoon.
- Cold Tuesday night with temperatures in the single digits and teens.
- Gusty northeast winds continue tonight especially near Lake Superior with wind gusts of 20 to around 40 mph. Winds shift to the north Tuesday with gusts to around 20 to 35 mph. Areas of blowing snow will persist across parts of the Northland due to the gusty winds tonight and Tuesday.

- Mixing/rain issues continue tonight through early Tuesday morning in all of northwest Wisconsin, and also in far eastern Minnesota, north to Duluth including the North Shore. Precipitation switches back to all snow from west to east Tuesday morning.
Duluth area: Areas of fog are likely tonight along with some more wet snow and patchy blowing snow. Some rain and drizzle are also likely at times with some freezing rain and ice accumulation possible especially on top of the hill, with lower chances for ice accumulation below the hill tonight. Mixed precipitation changes back to all snow Tuesday morning between 4 and 7 AM with snow through much of the day Tuesday. Snow tapers off mid to late afternoon Tuesday. Note: Snow could be moderate to heavy at times Tuesday morning through about early Tuesday afternoon.

A variety of winter weather alerts remain in effect in much of the Northland through Tuesday.
Milder temperatures continue to push farther north/west out of southern-eastern Minnesota and Wisconsin late this afternoon and this trend will continue through tonight before colder air pushes south/east out of northern-western Minnesota Tuesday.
Strong area of low pressure over far northwest Missouri late this afternoon will track northeast and deepen a bit more as it does so. This low is expected to track through southwest into central Wisconsin Tuesday before moving over central/northern Lake Superior Tuesday night.

FREEZING RAIN/ICE ACCUMULATION POTENTIAL
Areas of freezing rain and freezing drizzle will likely develop over parts of northeast and eastern Minnesota into parts of northwest Wisconsin this evening and continue into early Tuesday morning with ice accumulations of a light glaze to around 0.15 inches possible.
Note: The greatest chance for some ice accumulations tonight should occur inland from Lake Superior with lower chances closer to Lake Superior.
