The Northland experienced a widespread rain event from Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning, although the actual rainfall totals were lower than forecasted for most areas, this was particularly the case in eastern Minnesota and much of northwest Wisconsin, encompassing the Twin Ports and North Shore regions.
