A cold front is expected to move eastward into the Northland by Friday afternoon and will linger in the region until Saturday. It is then anticipated to reverse direction, heading north as a warm front on Sunday. The area may experience intermittent showers on Friday and Saturday due to this front, but the rainfall is predicted to be sporadic and not substantial in accumulation.
