-A widespread rain event impacted northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin from Friday afternoon into Saturday morning, resulting in significant rainfall totals ranging from approximately 0.50 inches to over an inch.

-With the recent rainfall in Duluth, our precipitation total for December sits at 1.35 inches, which is very close to the normal amount of 1.34 inches through December 28th.

-The recent rain, combined with the mild temperatures, has caused the snow depth at the Duluth Airport to decrease to 3 inches as of 4 PM on December 28th. Meanwhile, below the hill in Duluth, there is no snow left on the ground, although there was not much to begin with.
