The updated snow depth map for Minnesota was released today, and it is disappointing for snow enthusiasts. Most of Minnesota currently has less than an inch of snow on the ground, except in parts of northern Minnesota and the Arrowhead, where there are accumulations ranging from 2 to 4 inches. There are a few isolated areas with higher snow depths of up to 8 inches, but those are rare.
Snow depth rankings are currently among the lowest on record in much of Minnesota, particularly in areas marked by red on the map.
