My snowfall forecast compared to what happened shows some accurate predictions and some inaccuracies for Sunday.

-The northern cutoff zone was forecasted quite well I think.

-The heaviest snowfall was expected in northern Wisconsin, especially near the South Shore, where 4 to 8 inches of snow fell, matching the forecast.

-Much of east central Minnesota received at least an inch of snow, within my forecast range of 1 to 3 inches, though it was on the lower end.

-The area that was off in my forecast was Duluth. I predicted 3 to 5 inches of snow, but we only got about 1 to 1.5 inches on Sunday.

Here’s what actually fell

And here’s my snowfall forecasts for this past weekend’s system.
