September 25th Weather: Northeast MN and NW WI

Temperatures in the 70s and low 80s are expected in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin on Thursday.

Here are the record highs for September 25th.

  • Ashland: 92 set in 1920
  • Duluth: 88 set in 1920
  • International Falls: 85 set in 1920
  • Brainerd: 85 set in 1920
  • Hibbing: 79 set in 1950

Note: Hibbing might tie or break its record high temperature on Thursday, but the other records are probably safe.

Temperatures will cool off on Friday, especially near Lake Superior, as winds shift to the east, which will help keep temperatures in the 50s and 60s. However, warmer temperatures, mostly in the 70s, should return this weekend, even near Lake Superior.
