From 2007 to 2009, we had three consecutive Decembers with over 30 inches of snow. The snowiest December ever recorded in Duluth was in 2022, with a total of 44.9 inches of snowfall. Since 2000, six Decembers have ranked among Duluth’s top 10 snowiest: 2022, 2013, 2008, 2007, 2005, and 2009. Interestingly, of those six, only two wrapped up the season with above-average snowfall, while the other four ended up below average. |
