Cooling Trend Brings Below Average Temperatures

The cooling trend started today, with highs about 5 to 10 degrees below the August 23 average. Looking ahead to Sunday, temperatures are expected to be slightly cooler, ranging from the upper 50s to mid-60s. Breezy northwest winds will persist through Sunday, with gusts reaching up to 30 mph.

There were a few passing showers in the Northland today, which are expected to taper off overnight. However, they could make a return on Sunday, though the coverage should be less than what we saw today.
