…Mesoscale Discussion has been issued for parts of Northwest Wisconsin with an 80% chance of a severe thunderstorm or tornado watch by 3:30pm Today… (SPC)
*At this time, it appears that the greatest chance for severe thunderstorm development for the remainder of the Afternoon will be from Minong and Shell Lake, east to Hayward, Exeland and Winter, and into Price, Ashland and Iron Counties in Northwestern Wisconsin.
-Damaging wind gusts >60mph appear to the biggest hazard from any severe thunderstorm.
-Large hail is also possible along with isolated tornadoes.
Heavy rain and dangerous lightning will also accompany even non-severe thunderstorms This Afternoon.
