A tornado watch has been issued for Northern, Central, and Western Wisconsin. Western Upper Michigan. Southeast Minnesota. And Lake Superior. This watch is valid until 10pm CDT This Evening.
Hazards:
*Tornadoes
*Hail to 2″ in diameter
*Thunderstorm wind gusts to 70 mph
*Dangerous lightning are possible in these areas
Counties in the Duluth area that are included in the tornado watch are:
-Bayfield WI
-Ashland WI
-Iron WI
-Washburn WI
-Sawyer WI
-Price WI
Some cities in Northwest Wisconsin included in the tornado watch are:
Port Wing…Bayfield…Cable…Ashland…Butternut…Hurley…Minong…Shell Lake…Hayward…Exeland…Park Falls…and Phillips.
