18z NAM-WRF model 6-13-19
Radar forecast from 1 AM Friday to 10 PM Friday.
Computer models are in good agreement on the rain for late tonight through Friday morning, thereafter model differences arise as to where scattered thunderstorms develop Friday afternoon into Friday evening. A few models show the storms mostly over central Minnesota and points south later Friday afternoon, other models have thunderstorms developing farther north later in the day Friday.
How soon will the rain move out Friday morning?
Will temperatures warm up and moisture increase enough to support convection later Friday?
How much instability will build into the Northland on Friday?
Still quite a bit of uncertainty with Friday’s severe weather potential, stay tuned.
