Radar from 9:15 PM shows a line of strong thunderstorms continuing to move ENE through far northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Storms will exit these areas by Midnight, but until then expect lightning, torrential downpours, gusty winds and hail in some of the storms.

What. A. Storm. A broken squall line basically stretches from Ontario to western Oklahoma this evening all part of the same storm lifting into western Ontario this evening.

*Reports of a large tree down in Lester Park on Tioga street at 8 PM.

*A large tree down in Superior, WI at 7:52 PM.

*Possible tornadoes reported near Tamarack and Cromwell around 7 this evening.

*Flood warnings remain in effect through early Saturday morning for portions of north-central and northeast Minnesota with flooding reported in the Grand Rapids and Hibbing areas this evening.

9:30 PM: Marine Thunderstorm Wind 29 mph. 2 SE Silver Bay, MN.

8:22 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 N Palmers, MN (St. Louis County) A tree was downed onto a power line along Homestead Road in Clifton Township.

8:13 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 3 NW French River, MN (St. Louis County) A tree was leaning on a power line along Lismore Road in Normanna Township.

8:04 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Solon Springs, WI (Douglas County) A tree was down over a roadway in Solon Springs.

8:03 PM: Flash Flood. Nashwauk, MN (Itasca County) Water to a depth of 4 feet was reported over Pearson Avenue in Nashwauk.

8:02 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 N Solon Springs, WI (Douglas County) Several trees down, some as large as 10 inches in diameter.

8:02 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 3 NNE Duluth, MN (St. Louis County) Report of metal sheeting dangling from a building that could pose a threat to power lines.

8:01 PM: Marine Thunderstorm Wind 49 mph. 5 SE Duluth, MN (St. Louis County) Reported at Duluth Sky Harbor Airport.

8:00 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 3 NE Duluth, MN (St. Louis County) A tree was down on a power line on East 1st Street and the tree was on fire.

8:00 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Lester Park, MN (St. Louis County) A large tree was down on a power line on Tioga Street and was on fire.

8:00 PM: Flash Flood. Keewatin, MN (Itasca County) Reports of a minimum of 9 inches of standing water on roadways in parts of Keewatin. Around 12 inches of water in some spots. Reports of flooding in several locations in town. Spotter reported 3.96 inches of rain.

8:00 PM: Flash Flood. 4 SSE Taconite, MN (Itasca County) A culvert was washed out on County Road 69 near Birch Drive south of Marble and CR 69 is closed.

7:58 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 NNW Superior, WI (Douglas County) The roof of an large industrial building was severely damaged and partially blown off.

7:57 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 SSE Duluth, MN (St. Louis County) A string of loaded double stack container railroad cars were blown over on the south side of Duluth Port Terminal.

7:17 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 4 W Moose Lake, MN (Carlton County) Reports of structures damaged between Highway 27 and E County Road 134, east-southeast of Moose Lake, including a pole shed and homestead.

7:14 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 WNW Kerrick, MN (Pine County) A tree fell onto a cabin with lots of additional tree damage around the property as well.

7:10 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 E Sturgeon Lake, MN (Pine County) Multiple trees down within the city of Sturgeon Lake.

7:06 PM: Flood. Lawler, MN (Aitkin County) A few culverts washed out due to flooding from heavy rain.

7:05 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 SSE Hibbing, MN (St. Louis County) A power line was down and laying across part of Townline Road.

7:04 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 SSW Willow River, MN (Pine County) Trees were falling along MN-61 between Willow River and Rutledge.

7:04 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 ENE Sandstone, MN (Pine County) Ten inch diameter tree broken.

7:04 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Hibbing, MN (St. Louis County) A few trees were down in Hibbing with at least one partially blocking a street.

7:02 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Sandstone, MN (Pine County) Several 3-5 inch diameter trees reported broken.

7:00 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 3 NNW Sandstone, MN (Pine County) Tree blown down over driveway.

7:00 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 ESE Finlayson, MN (Pine County) Trees were down in Finalyson. Mostly dead birch and dead tamarack but a few live popple trees were uprooted as well.

7:00 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Lawler, MN (Aitkin County) Multiple trees and power lines down.

6:58 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 5 SW Finlayson, MN (Pine County) Part of a metal roof was peeled off of a house with additional damage to a barn near the intersection of Groningen Road and Fox Road due to strong winds.

6:58 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 W Lawler, MN (Aitkin County) Multiple trees and power lines down.

6:57 PM: Flash Flood. 1 NE Grand Rapids, MN (Itasca County) Localized flooding in the city of Grand Rapids. Notable locations include Ace Hardware on 5th street and other downtown business locations.

6:51 PM: Heavy Rain 1.23″. 3 SSE Brevik, MN (Cass County)

6:48 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 8 ESE McGrath, MN (Aitkin County) Docks flipped over near Giese due to strong winds.

6:42 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. Hill City, MN (Aitkin County) Some minor tree damage in the Hill City area.

6:39 PM: Flood. 1 N La Prairie, MN (Itasca County) State Patrol reports that 2 feet of water was covering the road on 169 near Glenwood Drive. Road will be shut down.

6:34 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 3 SSE Bovey, MN (Itasca County) Several trees reported down at the Trout Lake Campground near Grand Rapids.

6:32 PM: Funnel Cloud. 1 WNW Calumet, MN (Itasca County) Possible funnel cloud with a rotating shelf cloud. Spotter reported seeing this funnel near Marble on US-169.

6:13 PM: Funnel Cloud. Crosby, MN (Crow Wing County)

5:46 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 1 S Fifty Lakes, MN (Crow Wing County) About 15 acres worth of trees were downed of heavily damaged on the south side of Fifty Lakes.

5:33 PM: Thunderstorm Wind Damage. 2 NNW Cross Lake, MN (Crow Wing County) Several downed trees.
