Significant rainfall amounts south of the Northland over the past 24 hours; mostly light rainfall amounts in most of the Northland

So far I’d say this setup has been a disappointment in terms of getting a lot of rain in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, but we still have a chance at getting a round or two of more significant rain in parts of the Northland through Saturday night so will see how things play out.

Brainerd area picked up more than an inch of rain since Thursday morning, while totals of a little more than a quarter inch have been reported in the Duluth area, while farther north even less rain, with totals of just 0.02″ reported in the Isabella area, to no rain at all at International Falls.
