More flood reports and final rainfall totals from June 18-19

Heavy rain was widespread across the Northland from Tuesday into early Wednesday morning. Several areas in northeast Minnesota recorded more than 7 inches of rain on Tuesday, with the highest reported amount being 7.60 inches, 9 miles northwest of Tower, Minnesota.

Significant flooding occurred as a result of the heavy rainfall on Tuesday, and the flooding continues in parts of the Northland today.

Flood warnings remain in effect until late this afternoon for parts of northern and northeast Minnesota, as well as in parts of northwest Wisconsin.

-Flooding persists in parts of the Northland, with the Arrowhead region of Minnesota and the Bayfield Peninsula being the areas of greatest concern.

-Roads that were once passable may now be submerged as rivers rise to their crest.

-Road closures on MN-1 near Isabella.
