The current weather pattern indicates that we will experience intermittent scattered showers and occasional thunderstorms through at least Monday, and possibly extending into Tuesday.
The rain will remain scattered over the next few days, with some areas experiencing showers while others remain relatively dry.
Additionally, the weather pattern may result in a mostly dry day at your location, followed by a brief but heavy shower that sweeps through the area, lasting perhaps around 10 minutes before it moves on.
The storms that develop the next few days are expected to bring short, intense downpours, sporadic lightning, and possibly small hail or strong winds. However, severe weather conditions are not anticipated into early next week.

The coverage of Sunday’s rain in the Northland may be a bit more extensive than what we will experience on Saturday afternoon, due to a stronger disturbance moving northeast from southern Minnesota, bringing increased uplift to the region.

Rainfall predictions through Sunday are expected to vary widely, with some areas potentially receiving a quarter to half an inch or more, while others may see only a few hundredths of an inch.
Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms were observed Friday afternoon through early evening, primarily affecting areas of northeast Minnesota.
A few areas in northeastern Minnesota experienced considerable rainfall on Friday afternoon, with amounts varying from half an inch to over an inch. Notably, Isabella reported 1.33 inches of precipitation.

Late Friday afternoon, a shower moved southward across parts of Duluth, and areas under this shower experienced intense rainfall, receiving about a half-inch or more within just 5 to 10 minutes.
In the coming days, temperatures are expected to hover near the seasonal norms, with highs predominantly in the 70s, reaching up to 80 degrees in northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin, both today, Saturday, and Sunday.
