On Monday, paid subscribers to my blog received an advance notice about the dense plume of wildfire smoke that was expected to drift over the Northland today, originating from northern Montana.

The cost for a monthly subscription to my blog is $5, while the annual subscription fee is $60.

Today, the Northland experienced highs in the mid-70s to low 80s, while areas near Lake Superior remained cooler, with temperatures ranging from 67 to 70 degrees, due to the persistent easterly winds.
