Scattered showers and thunderstorms have swept across parts of the Northland today, bringing heavy rainfall in their wake.
One such area, northern Bayfield County in northwest Wisconsin, experienced significant downpours, prompting the issuance of a Flash Flood Warning effective until 5:45 PM today.
Radar estimates indicate that rainfall amounts have varied between approximately 2 and 4 inches this afternoon in the northern part of Bayfield County, north of Cornucopia and Bayfield, Wisconsin.
