September 2024 in Duluth will be remembered for its unusual dryness and warm temperatures.
In Duluth, 77% of the days in September experienced above-average temperatures, while only 20% registered below-average temperatures.
This month, Duluth experienced at least 80 degrees Fahrenheit on nine days. The record for the most days with temperatures of 80 degrees or higher is ten, set in September 1908.
Note: Duluth, Ashland, and Brainerd have all experienced their warmest September on record this month, and it may also be a record-setter for International Falls and Hibbing.
