Another frigid morning across the Northland.

*Coldest temperature reported was -40 degrees at Indus, Minnesota.

*Several other cities and towns across northern Minnesota reported temperatures in the 30s below zero this morning.

*The official low in Duluth was -14 degrees (airport location)

**Lowest wind chill reported in the Northland this morning was -46 degrees at International Falls and Cook, Minnesota**

*Wind chill temperatures in Duluth bottomed out around -30 to -31 degrees earlier today.

Note — The winter of 2024-2025 has been a cold one in Duluth, with 56% of days since December 1st featuring below-normal temperatures compared to 41% of days being warmer than normal.
