There isn’t a lot of precipitation ahead in the coming week, so temperatures will be the main story around here; speaking of which, there is a shot, albeit a brief one, of cold air centered on the Sunday night to Monday night time frame, with lows Sunday night in the teens to lower 20s. Monday night will see temperatures drop to the single digits and teens across the area. Highs on Monday will be in the middle 20s to low to mid 30s.
A milder pattern looks to take over mid to late next week with highs in the 50s and even a few 60s possible. Note: Whether or not this warmer weather makes it to the shores of Lake Superior is uncertain as it will depend on wind direction.
A few snow showers are possible at times in parts of northeast Minnesota and northern Wisconsin through early Monday morning, but little to no snow accumulation is expected.
