Warm temperatures are anticipated to persist in the Northland through Monday, with the peak warmth projected for that day, featuring widespread 80s and potentially a few 90s, contingent on the smoke not significantly obscuring the sun.

A cold front will bring some rain to the Northland from Monday night into Tuesday, but computer models differ on the amount of rain. A few thunderstorms may occur, but severe weather seems unlikely at this time.

Rainfall of up to half an inch is possible across much of northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin from Monday night into Tuesday, with the possibility of one inch or more in northwest Wisconsin and far eastern Minnesota.
