This morning’s mid and upper-level analysis shows a large ridge centered over Ontario, which typically brings calm weather to the Northland. However, since our area is near and on the east side of the ridge, it’s referred to as a dirty ridge, allowing small disturbances to sneak south and produce some showers.
Showers this afternoon and evening are expected to be scattered to isolated, so not everyone will experience rain. However, those who do might encounter a downpour or two.
