Temperatures will begin to warm slightly on Thursday, with highs in the 40s to low 50s across northeast Minnesota and northwest Wisconsin. Though still cooler than average for early May, it’s a move toward normal.
Friday is shaping up to be one of the warmer days this week, with highs climbing into the 50s and even the low to mid-60s. It will cool off a bit over the weekend, but not as much as it has in the past few days.

Brief light snow or rain showers will track east-southeast across the Northland tonight, with a few spotty showers possible on Thursday, but no widespread or significant precipitation is expected.
A better chance for scattered showers is expected late Friday night into Saturday morning as a clipper system moves southeast through the region.
Model forecasts are hinting at a few more chances for rain next week.
