Radar estimates from Sunday through about 6:30 AM Monday show streaks of heavier rainfall, with totals of 0.5 to 1 inch or more in the blue and yellow areas on the map from northern Minnesota to the Arrowhead and into far northern Wisconsin, along with a few isolated spots seeing over 2 inches.
If you’re south of that blue line on the map, you likely didn’t see any rain Sunday night. The warm air layer above—known as a cap—stayed strong, keeping all the rain confined to areas north and northeast of the line.
